This Jazz Age Manor took on a serious upgrade under the design hands of fashion entrepreneurs Vince Camuto and his wife/business partner Louise. Originally built in the 1900s, this manor has a beautiful history to it that the Camuto's wished to keep while vamping it with some modern elements and decor. This home is absolutely stunning. I almost fell off my chair when I saw the kitchen and dining space but this whole house had my jaw to the floor. It has an understated elegance while keeping the decor simple and neutral. I'm in love. When can I move in with you Mr. and Mrs. Camuto?

Décor: Mirror, Mirror.

Nothing makes a space feel larger than decorating with mirrors. The other day I came upon this beautiful mirror that was taller than I was in little European store on Pearl street that enlarged the space dramatically. It was so beautiful. I was swooning over it and how much it opened up the space. I immediately came home and begin searching Pinterest and such on designing a room around large mirrors. These are some of the great rooms I found.
Interior Design: Functional Kitchen.

This kitchen is pretty much perfect when it comes to organization and functionality. I would definitely make it a little more glamorous with the decorations but, it is beautiful. Love it.
Although it's not an open floor plan, which is a must for me, the windowed wall makes it feel really open yet separates it nicely from the breakfast table.
Functional to have the laundry room right next door. But, you must be extremely organized for this to look good!
Love the white cabinets and that stove top, ugh, it's stunning. Why do I find appliances so beautiful?!

OH my goodness, I need this chair. It's so quirky yet the color and materials used make it so luxuriously chic. I love it.

Pomies.

Who knew pom-poms weren't just for cheerleaders to wave in your face. The queen of all things domestic, my idol Miss Martha Stewart has turned this child-like feature into sophisticated details for your home. They have become almost a luxurious accessory in the hands of Stewart. Love especially how they look on a blanket draped over a beautiful bed spread.
Coveting: Louis Ghost Chair.

I've been looking for a desk chair for a while now. I want something a bit modern without being bulky. My apartment is on the small side so I can't have big items in my room so they don't overwhelm my space. This is my first choice. It's called the Louis Ghost Chair designed by Philippe Starck. Made of transparent polycarbonate, the material is light and sturdy and gives the chair a modern feel with a classic design. I'm definitely saving up for this pretty piece.

The Perfect Pied-à-Terre.
7.15.2012
I have always had a strong interest in interior design and have really considered going to school for it after graduating. Naturally, I have bookmarks and bookmarks of online architecture websites and design blogs and have been subscribed to Veranda magazine since I was in high-school. So, we will see where that goes! Anyways, I found this gorgeous gorgeous sorry, did I mention GORGEOUS apartment in San Francisco of wine-makers Jean-Charles and Gina Boisset. Such a beautiful color scheme with luxurious details. The perfect dream home.
