Being able to see designers collections with a frontal view is great. You get to see the whole outfit, without disruption of the audience. I find most of those types of images on the bigger fashion websites such as Style.com and The Cut. However, there is something so beautiful about these photographs and the fact that they are taken by an audience member. One of my photography and style idols, Jamie Beck from From Me To You. I feel like I'm right there at the show, ooo-ing and ahh-ing at the looks coming down the runway by the incredible and extremely talented designer, Mr. Jason Wu. His collection, inspired by Helmut Newton, is filled with lace, leather, and corset details for the lady with an edge. His collaboration with lingerie brand La Perla is very apparent in his looks with the sheer and chiffon backs and silhouettes making them provocative yet glamorous. The pics are stunning, the collection is stunning. I'm just taking a deep breathe......exhaling.......and smiling. This, is what I love about fashion and photography. C'est trés belle.

What an interesting point you make about perspective! Frontal view is especially nice for seeing the details of a garment, but the side view is so much more artistic and beautiful. The movement of the clothes is so apparent. Lovely collection, too. Many details.
