READING - My dearest Grace Coddington's Memoir. I'm finally started to get around to it since I received it as a present this year for Christmas. I may just be reading half a chapter at a time but it is so inspiring and I absolutely adore her even more now.

DRINKING - Teas galore. I've been a little under-the-weather and sitting in bed reading Manet with a huge cup of tea is how I've been spending most of my weekdays lately when I'm not in class. I still have some of my favorite Orange Pekoe Tea left from my last visit to Dean & Deluca but I'm running out. Thank goodness you can buy it online. Phew.

LISTENING TO - My new found obsession. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce you to Daughter. Their music literally touches my soul. I have found myself sitting and listening to the words and just feeling their music (I think I cried the other night too listening to Youth because I'm a girl with these weird things called emotions, who knew?). I know, it sounds extremely pathetic but listen to them and you will understand, trust me. My favorite tracks right now that have already hit 50+ plays on my iTunes are Youth, Candles, Love, and Medicine. Ya, too many good ones to narrow it down. So all I'm saying is, do yourself a favor and take a listen.

Happy Monday mes amies

  1. Your words are like the bristles that gently caress this blank white canvas. Unknowingly and undoubtedly, the simple ergonomic movements of your fingertips spell out messages that so elegantly play symphonies of sight. My eyes dart back and forth, hesitant to blink, for fear I might blur the purposefully placed ink.(unintentional rhyme)So, this I ask; play me a song, you rhetorical musician! A song of broken intentions, but of unbridled hope. A song of pent up aspirations. A song that lingers in the true essence of what it's like to be...Mindy Erazo. photography and art history student.
