Accessory: Wide Brimmed Wool Hat.

Fall is quickly approaching and there is nothing that I love more than fall accessories. Hats, beanies, tights, and scarves. Can't get enough. Lately, I've been lusting after the lovely wide brimmed wool hats everyone has been wearing and I knew I had to get one for myself. I've struggled to find the perfect one but the other day I stumbled upon a cute wide brimmed fedora on PIPERLIME that is way more 'laid-back chic' than 'Jersey Shore' so I'm thrilled. It's coming in the mail as we speak but I already love it and feel the need to also add a floppy wool hat to my closet soon too. I'm counting down the days till the forecast is in the 60's and I can wear all my favorite accessories.

Gold on Gold on Gold.

I recently have been on a jewelry binge where all I want to do is buy beautiful gold necklaces. Every store I go into, it's straight to the jewelry section to see what new goodies I can find. I've started to experiment with layering so mixing different styles and lengths of necklaces has been a nice update to my accessories.

Fave Friday :: Etsy Jewelry Shops.

I just ordered a beautiful black onyx drop gemstone necklace from a fantastic ETSY shop. I absolutely love Esty. I've found some incredible pieces and I really love how many of the designers make only a few pieces so you purchase 'almost' a one of a kind piece. Today, I thought I would introduce you to my favorite Etsy shops. Enjoy. 

ONE: By far my favorite shop. SHOPKEI by Kayla Tones - Absolutely stunning pieces. I seriously want to buy everything from this shop. The stones are beautiful and the chains are a delicate gold that are perfect for layering as you can see in the image above. 

TWO: SEA AND CAKE by Stephanie Hughes is a shop specializing in bridesmaid jewelry, nautical jewelry, and gemstone pieces. I'm obsessed. The gemstone pieces are incredible and so dainty. I love the drop piece in the image above. It looks great alone and I'm sure as well layered. I love the GOLD BAR pieces as well. Love love. Did I say love?

THREE: AYLIN MADDEN is a shop with simple pieces that are great to incorporate into your jewelry collection. They are beautiful everyday pieces in both gold and silver and are great to mix up together. Really love the SLAVE BRACELET pieces as well as the evil eye necklaces.

Accessory Trend: Ear cuffs.

Ear cuffs. Can't say I was the biggest fan of them before. I always felt like they were worn by the girls who tried to be rebels and just make their parents angry by getting too many piercings and such in middle and high school. But like almost all things, designers get a hold of these not so chic trends and make them, well, chic. Add some glitz with fine jewels and metals and exaggerate the size and the result is a very glamorous accessory. Its kind of a show stopper so when wearing it, make sure to keep the hair simple as well as the neckline. 

Of course, Man Repeller wore it out the other day so it is starting to be the 'it' accessory to have but I discovered a beautiful ear cuff worn by Jessie Bush from We The People a couple weeks earlier and immediately fell in love. So elegant and glamorous. (Pictured right)

Cara Delevingne wore hers out to a red carpet event earlier this month and it also looks very stunning and glamorous with her hair slicked back into a bun but again, I can't get enough of Bush's ear cuff. It has a really great vintage look with the pearls and diamonds but doesn't overwhelm. Ugh, I love it so much!

Today: Inspirational Monday.

Happy Monday my darlings,

I hope you all have a great start to your week! I know Thanksgiving is coming up already next week so I'm hoping to do a special post for that but before then, I have scheduled 2 exams, 2 papers, and 2 maybe 3 mental breakdowns before I leave for vacation this Thursday so I'm hoping for some sanity throughout these next couple days! Meanwhile, I've been updating my tumblr like crazy, in avoidance of actually studying (I know, procrastination at it's finest) but that's luck for you right? Also, it's probably not the smartest week to do so, but I've been thinking about starting my own Pinterest. All my friends rave about it and I visited it the other day and got some great ideas from it so I'm hoping to get that going in the next couple of days. What do you all think of Pinterest? Would you follow if I made one?

Well, I've been up for almost 21 hours now and my exam is in 3 hours so I need to go get another pot of coffee going. Oh college life....

Juste un Clou.

Juste un Clou, the latest collection from the luxury jewelry brand Cartier that includes rings and bracelets. Now a iconic piece by Cartier that debut in the 70's to symbolize the "rebellious spirit and raw energy of New York City" at the time. These pieces are so beautiful with a tough design yet they look so elegant on a wrist (I tried a gold one on this past summer and almost ran out of the store with it so my parents HAD to buy it, but they figured out my plan, boo). The collection ranges from $2,175 to $34,650 and come in various materials from simple gold to the beautiful rose gold color with diamonds. Stunning.

Killer Shoes.

Killer shoes designed by up and coming designer Richard Braqo. Parsons alum born in Ghana, Braqo moved to NYC when he was just 18. He has worked with top design houses like Acne Studios and Helmut Lang and has created many custom shoes for Rihanna. Now venturing off on his own designing incredible shoes, his first collecting debuts Fall's gothic romantic trend. Timeless designs mixed with modern masculine details and feminine silhouettes. I'm absolutely obsessed with every single pair...

So excited about these dainty stackable gold rings I found online! They came in the mail yesterday and I can not wait to wear them.

Lovely Finds.

I found some pretty additions to my closet while on vacation! Surprisingly, Oahu has some great places to shop along Waikiki and one of my favorite malls located at Ala Moana. I got to drool over all the goodies at Chanel and Miu Miu. Security asked me to close my mouth, embarrassing. Anyways, I dropped a few hints and gave a couple nudges to my parents so that they could get ideas for my birthday, fingers crossed (I've been eying this bag for ages now). Although I couldn't get the bag, I did find this bright orange sleeveless Equipment shirt at Nordys that's perfect right now for summer. I'm excited to pair it with some white jeans or high waisted shorts. I bought this cute  3.1 Phillip Lim bralette in a white and citrus colour. It has dainty buttons that go up the front. I'll be wearing this under light sweaters. You can find a similar one here. I'm not the biggest fan of Juicy Couture that much anymore, except for their costume jewelry. I always find fun pieces like this one. Its a nice reminder of my trip with the neon coral piece and bitty sunnies and the best part was it was only $25 with 25% off. Cha Chinggg!

I made some changes to the layout of my blog! I'm trying out a new header and a logo. What do you guys think? Yay or nay on the new changes?

Lusting over

These small gold bands are so pretty and delicate! You can never layer on enough of these. I'm looking to purchase some thin gold ones for my knuckles. Catbird has some great rings and you can also find some beautiful hand made ones on Etsy.

Spike it!

I'm REALLY loving all these spiked bracelets I've been seeing so much online and on tumblr! I love jewelry that can double as a weapon because, well, you never know....

I'm a huge fan of layering bracelets until I can't lift up my arm and these look so fun to add to all my arm candy. My favourites are probably by CC Skye. Asos makes some cute ones too on the less #$$$ side. I love gold coloured anything though so I'm leaning more towards the CC bracelet. So, hopefully I'll be adding this lovely piece to my collection soon.

Colour Spotlight: Neon Accents.

NEON. Love love love adding touches of neon colours. They instantly make any outfit fun and I like how the bright colours make my skin look tanner. I'm dying for some neon shoes this summer and I seriously need to run to American Apparel and grab me some of those neon nail polishes. Supa' sauceyy.
