Editorial: L'échappée Belle.

I'm so so so excited for Fall. It's absolutely my favorite season. Here in Colorado we have to enjoy the nice crisp days we have because snow comes way before winter does here so I take advantage of these lovely days. What I love about fall is the layering. T-shirts and chambrays, flannels with silk, scarves, boots, the list goes on and on. This editorial in VOGUE PARIS' SEPTEMBER 2013 issue is really setting the mood for the season. Just the right amount of rugged with an edge and no compromise on the comfort with the amazing suede jackets and undone boots. How fantastic is the hair and makeup as well? Those braids are so pretty with the deep part. 

Beauty: Grunge Make-up.

Burgundy is my ultimate favorite color for fall. So rich and compliments skin tones so beautifully. A great pair of skinnies in burgundy or a silk shirt looks trés chic but put it on your lips and it is an immediate vampy/grunge look. I love the way a lip color can make such a big transformation and a deep color is a great way to change up a look without spending tons of money. Accessory: Wide Brimmed Wool Hat.

Fall is quickly approaching and there is nothing that I love more than fall accessories. Hats, beanies, tights, and scarves. Can't get enough. Lately, I've been lusting after the lovely wide brimmed wool hats everyone has been wearing and I knew I had to get one for myself. I've struggled to find the perfect one but the other day I stumbled upon a cute wide brimmed fedora on PIPERLIME that is way more 'laid-back chic' than 'Jersey Shore' so I'm thrilled. It's coming in the mail as we speak but I already love it and feel the need to also add a floppy wool hat to my closet soon too. I'm counting down the days till the forecast is in the 60's and I can wear all my favorite accessories.
