I can't even begin to express my obsession with Alexander Wang's 'Mackenzie' Boots....I just......

RIGHT?! They are so beyond perfect I would give up my soul for them. Ok, maybe I took it too far but I am a strong believer of love at first sight (strictly in reference to shoes). My heart melts when I find a good pair and these left me weak at the knees. We fell in love when they graced the cover of January's Vogue on Gwen Stefani, of course. Miss Queen of cool knew what was up and she would have been cray not to take those home with her no matter what the cost. I know I would have. 

In all honesty, and I hate to admit this, but I did forget about them for a split second until I came across them again on Giorgia Grazia('s instagram feed) and immediately my heart fluttered again. Damn you Alexander Wang and your ability to make me feel so many emotions for an inanimate object. But, can you blame me though!? 

I want youuu Mackenzieeee. Will you please magically appear in my closet, maintenant?

Is it possible to be jealous of a 4 year old? Well look at this precious nugget in her mini Nikes and Chanel purse. As the niece of famous fashion designer Alexander Wang, Aila was born into style. Never thought such a little person could pull off so much black amazingly. Custom designed clothes by Uncle Alex and front row seats to his show. Can I repeat again that she is 4? The beginnings of a super stylish life little Aila.

Alexander Wang Spring 2013 Collection.

I'm starting to get a little bit annoyed with viewing show after show in a sort of generic photo type. Face forward, model walking towards the camera. The garments tend to look so stiff and I don't think one can fully appreciate the pieces. So in my search for images from the runway shows, I have been drawn more towards those images that are leaning on the artistic side. I'm not sure if this is my photography background kicking in or what, but I'm really enjoying photographers who are taking a different approach to the runway shows than the norm.

So far, my favorite has been this series of the Alexander Wang show by photographer Balarama Heller. Beautiful images that compliment an incredible show by one of my favorites, Mr. Alexander Wang. Many thanks to Milk Made for Mr. Heller's portfolio. Baisers.

Happy Met Gala Monday!

OH my goodness, I am absolutely thrilled to see the red carpet exuding with hot celebs and fashion icons in even hotter gowns, probably. If you haven't heard already, Alexander Wang is going with Azealia Banks and Mr. Altuzarra will be joined by Lana Del Rey. A glorious overload of amazing-ness! Non?
