CEREAL magazine, a beautiful London based mag that focuses on food, travel, and books. Seriously, the loves of my life. The images are absolutely breathtaking and the magazine itself feels more like a book with it's thick paper and slightly faded images that make you dream of distant places. I browsed through the first two volumes at a specialty magazine store in New York and couldn't believe what an experience it was to flip through the pages. The THIRD VOLUME has been released and it's everything and more than I expected. Take a look...

DIGNITY.
I cannot escape from the fact that I struggle with myself,
It has always been a difficult question for me: do I know him?
Who is he anyway? It's so alluring, sometimes as if the
will of the body would want to swallow me, leaving my thoughts behind,
but then comes the soul to pull me back. It's an eternal battle and a game.
Like the gravitational pull of a black hole, when it touches you,
something new is born, as if I'm not me anymore, somewhere else,
It has always been a difficult question for me: do I know him?
Who is he anyway? It's so alluring, sometimes as if the
will of the body would want to swallow me, leaving my thoughts behind,
but then comes the soul to pull me back. It's an eternal battle and a game.
Like the gravitational pull of a black hole, when it touches you,
something new is born, as if I'm not me anymore, somewhere else,
in an unknown place.
Kinfolk - Ice Cream and Flowers.
3.11.2013
I'm a huge fan of Kinfolk Magazine, a simplistic mag made by young artists for artists and food enthusiasts. Although I can't always spend money on every volume, I still enjoy the editorials I can find online and I always try to browse through it at Anthropology. This issue was no different with a beautiful editorial by photographer Parker Fitzgerald. So pretty, it's making me super excited for spring time.

As much as Instagram feels like it's a cliché now, I can't get enough of it. I love choosing filters for my images (Valencia please) and having a mini album with me all the time. I also, have some favorite users. They seem to take Instagram to a whole 'nother level, to an art form per say. Take a look...

10.24.2012
As the snow softly lays on the ground, I can officially bid this Indian summer farewell. Although I thought I was ready to let it go, I'm going to miss the warm breeze and the beautiful changing leaves. Now, my final goodbye is set with this stunning photo shoot I found over on the Ben Trovato Blog (never one to disappoint). The location, the clothes, the styling, so natural and minimal with some dark undertones. Stunning, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Eternal Sophistication.
9.26.2012
I am pretty adamant about keeping myself cultured and reading up on the news. I tend to steer away from politics because that is my older brother's specialty so whenever I need to know something or want to talk about it, he's my go to. Still, everyday I log onto Huffington Post and spend some time reading up on the headlines my favorite being the Arts and Culture section. They are good at updating about the Art World and giving incite as to what is going on not only here in the US but abroad. Today, I stumbled upon an article about LIFE photographer Mark Shaw and his family photographs of the Kennedys. All politics aside, as a family, I love them. Their elegance and sophistication is inspiring, specifically Mrs Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. She was the epitome of grace and beauty. I'm obsessed with her classic style and elegant demeanor. I seriously fell in love with this family all over again after seeing these pictures. How amazing would it have been to have been acquainted with them.

Double Exposure.

Hold the phone on Fashion week photos and let me introduce you to The Double Exposure...
...and this my friends, is why I am a photography student. I would love to be able to acquire the skills to take photographs like these. Absolutely stunning images. Next to the definition of "double exposure" should be these photographs. Agreed? Perfection.

Girl Crush: Lara Bingle.
9.05.2012
Lara Bingle. The beautiful 25 year old Aussie that has recently become a buzz here in the United States. Known for her perfect teeth and curvy body, Miss Bingle is making the boys love her, and the girls love to hate her. (I just love you Miss Bingle, no hate here). I'm obsessed with her shaggy chopped blonde hair and her great sense of style. Edgy and boy-ish but with a bod like that, no one is mistaking this pretty lady for a gent. Hoping to see more of her work here in the U.S. and I would seriously love to see her in anything Victoria Secret.

Favorite Things: Photographer Billy Kid.
4.15.2012
I can not rave enough about this genius man. The Kidd, that is, Billy Kidd. Probably one of the most brilliant photographers of my generation. I seriously idolize this man, his type of photography is what I only dream of creating. His portraits are absolutely flawless everything he shoots is absolutely enchanting. AHH I would love to be a fly on the wall in his studio and hope to absorb even the tiniest bit of his genius. Please Mr. Billy Kidd, hire me as your intern! haha but seriously.....please......?
