Fashion: Behind the Scenes at Roberto Cavalli Spring 2014.

So much print. So much beading. So, Cavalli. His SPRING 2014 collection was beautiful, with lots of detail work and stunning prints. I struggle with loving prints, being a petite girl they sort of take over far too much but I love Cavalli's prints. They are so natural and subtle in a way even when a shirt is entirely mixed prints. The details in beading are truly a work of art. I loved these images of the backstage madness before the runway which gives you a better sense of how the pieces move and sit on the body in their natural state.

 

 

Fashion Photography: Gisele Bündchen for BLK Denim.

Nobody can deny the beauty that is Gisele Bündchen. She usually graces the glossy pages of magazines in editorials wearing couture and the latest Saint Laurent collection but Bündchen's latest portraits for BLK Denim by Johan Lindeberg are a breath of fresh air. The portraits are absolutely  stunning. Bündchen is stripped down to her natural essence with a fresh, make-up free face and tousled hair. Although the pictures are lacking in said 'denim', we still get a very provocative and strong feeling which is a perfect representation of the BLK DNM brand. Tom Brady is one lucky fella.

Coachella Chic.

These past two weekends Coachella was the talk of all social media networks. If we had a dollar for every hashtag Coachella, we'd all be millionaires, seriously. Although the music festival brings a lot of over-the-top hobo, gypsy-esque fashion, some chic individuals know how to properly dress for a weekend of good music and fashion parties while rubbing elbows with the likes of models, actors, and (the newest trend) fashion/music bloggers. 

Of course, all the major magazine photogs were present and photographing the best Coachella style looks. So of course, when I knew I wanted to do a post on this festival, I headed straight over to VOGUE and HARPERS BAZAAR.

Fashion Polaroids.

There's nothing that I love more than Polaroid photography. So I was thrilled when I discovered stylist and creative director Imogen Barron's Fashion Polaroid images from her personal diary. They are stunning and have a beautiful vintage quality to them. She's photographed many gorgeous faces including one of my favorites, Lara Bingle.

Dear Mr. Zac Posen,

In my heart, you can do absolutely no wrong. Thank you for birthing such beautiful gowns into this world. I only hope to one day have the honor of wearing one. That is all. Merci. 

 

Refugee.

As the snow softly lays on the ground, I can officially bid this Indian summer farewell. Although I thought I was ready to let it go, I'm going to miss the warm breeze and the beautiful changing leaves. Now, my final goodbye is set with this stunning photo shoot I found over on the Ben Trovato Blog (never one to disappoint). The location, the clothes, the styling, so natural and minimal with some dark undertones. Stunning, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I'm still obsessed with the gold cap-toe YSL pumps from Spring/Summer 2012. Beautiful shoes. The Rodarte Tribal style heels are fantastic as well. Trés chic.

Wes Gordon Spring 2013 Collection.

I was introduced to Wes Gordon just this season when one of my favorite blogger and fashion photographers photographed his collection this season. Modern yet feminine looks in a sophisticated color palette. The cuts of the tops, the draping, the silhouettes of the pants, absolutely stunning. I am in love with every single piece. Why did it take me so long to discover this brilliant man! Take a look but fair warning, you will fall head-over-heels.

May I introduce you to Shanina Shaik. The gorgeous 21 year old model from Melbourne, Australia. This girl is stunning! Those eyes, that skin, like whoa! I'm excited to follow her career, I'm sure Miss Shaik will be incredible.
